Art has been a constant throughout my life. After studying Fine Art at Great Yarmouth College of Art and Design, Norwich School of Art and Sunderland University, where I met my wife, the artist Liz Derbyshire, I built a professional career in graphic design, illustration and digital marketing, while continuing to paint and exhibit my own work.
Working independently has allowed my artistic interests to evolve naturally rather than being shaped by commercial demands. I enjoy exploring different styles and techniques, working primarily in watercolour, acrylic and mixed media, with portraiture remaining a recurring theme and enduring fascination.
My work has been exhibited at Gayton Library (Harrow), West House Gallery (Pinner), Espacio Gallery (London) and the No Barking Art Biennale at the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.
