Stained glass paint, acrylic, enamel paint, silicone sealer on canvas.
I was siezed with the idea of painting a very close childhood friend.
We lost touch at the age of 16 after a friendship of fun, excitement and trouble.
The intention was to show a fine and golden youth – a heroic, brave, exciting figure with his long, tightly curled black hair.
The intention wasn't fully realised.
The painting has, for me, too much of a feeling of vulnerability and sadness.
